Geraldine O'Neill is a best-selling author as well as an award-winning teacher and mentor.

Born in Lanarkshire, Scotland, she had a career as a school-teacher in the North-West of England before moving to Ireland with her family in the early 1990s.

 

She lives in Daingean in County Offaly, in the heart of the Irish countryside. In nearby Tullamore, she set up a writing group that has now been running for decades. In 2002, her first book, Tara Flynn (the first in the Tara Saga) became a best-seller in Ireland, leading to her publication around the world.

16 books later, Geraldine is ageing enthusiastically. Recently spending a year studying art, she is now returning to writing, with a new book on the way!
